Nice gift shop. Tip do at end so not hauling around gift bags.

This an absolutely magical place. The horticulturist in charge is to be commended for their vision and attention to detail. I loved the variation and settings of the different gardens centrally located near the visitor center, but also enjoyed the fact that there were walking/hiking trails to further out destinations such as the meditation and fairy gardens. Walking through Maine Woods was lovely as it was lightly raining and the trees protected me. It was a gift to see all the fungi, mosses and lichens.

What a beautiful experience. My wife and my parents and I all took a day trip to the Botanical Gardens, and we were very impressed with all it had to offer - even in early May! The botanical gardens are absolutely manicured perfectly, integrating the spirit of the forests of the surrounding area while highlighting the native flora. One of our favorite parts was the ridge trail that leads down to the exceptional Meditation Garden (which you should not miss if you go). The trail along the water is breathtaking as well - soft pine trails underfoot as you walk through the mossy forest. This is much more than your average botanical garden. The transition to a more 'arboretum' and trail feel was simply superb.

This is a great botanical garden. It was such a pleasure to visit here and enjoy the Lerner five senses garden and the Children's Garden. The grounds are well laid out with a lot of thought evident in the planning and placement of all the wonderful plantings. We have been to a number of botanical gardens around the U.S. and this one definitely rates at the top of the list.

Gardens A Glow was a fabulous even. We went early which turned out till be the better option since it made parking in a construction zone easy. There are literally acres of decorated gardens and paths to explore. Despite the large number of people in attendance, the gardens are relatively uncrowded. Dress warm, being a hat and gloves with all your friends and family and enjoy.

If you cannot fish there is golf cart rides that circle around to pick up or drop off so no worries.

Loved it.

It was full of a verity of plants. Walk ways and trails.
